Description
This is a 3d Environment piece created by me (Kim Aava) during a 4 weeks time. The purpose was to learn to use maya and nd02 and texture realistic textures.
The scene uses 2 1024 x 1024 and 1 1024x512 texture, normal, spec and gloss map.
The concept art is crated by Mathieu Latour-Duhaime (conceptartworld.com/?p=28498)

Glad to see you also gave it a go! Turned out really great, especially for only 2 textures! Apart from that you stuck waaaaay more to the concept than I did which is great! When Thief recently came out and I came into the clocktower the first time, I was really disappointed because the actual ingame art looks nothing like the concept (in terms of layout and stuff like that). I still guess that this was just a mood concept and never meant to be realized 1:1. But yeah, your take came out awesome! Really, really amazing work! Would love to see this in a game engine tho
